Seriously, whatever they tell of my death out there, it's not true ;)
I've been busy as hell the past weeks, with writing my Bachelor thesis and preparing and planning for my two months of work at the Bodensee (south Germany), where I am now - over 700km away from home.
My first week of work is over. Since yesterday (or more, the day before yesterday), I'm working at night (7pm to 5am, give or take) so the cutter can work at day. It's not as exciting and interesting as it was in Leipzig, because the series I'm working for here is one meant for a younger audience, and... well. It's mostly a bit pathetic and meant to be educationally (esp. as far as social topics are concerned).
However, it's still great to have a job - my first real one, after all - and that I can work where other people go for their holidays *grins* I was here for two weeks with my family in 2003, but that was shortly after my grandpa had died, so having a great time wasn't that easy back then. Think it will be different this time. The summer is great (although it's *pouring* right now) and this really is a nice part of Germany.
About fandom: I was totally excited when I read the title of the Mentalist's season premiere. Does anyone of you think it is a reference to the second season's finale? Morning, night... - who knows? Anyways, I can't wait for the new season. This is going to be s great.
Did I ever mention that I LOVE this show? *grins*
